[15 Aug 2005|02:03am]
So, sadly I overheard a conversation today and found out that my dad and his girlfriend are going to California in less than a week.

AND they NEVER told me.

AND I have been asking my dad ALL summer if we could go to Cali to look at colleges, and he's always said that we don't have enough money to travel anywhere and look at colleges. And now a week after school starts, they're going to Cali for the weekend.

There is no description for what I am feeling.

The Rocket Summer/Hellogoodbye/Yellow Second concert last night was soo crazy!

After Yellow Second played, Jacque and Allison and I (and Brady and Kevin) all of the sudden got a lot closer to the stage, though I don't really know how. haha. Hellogoodbye was absolutely crazy, everyone was like jumping and shoving and dancing. I got pushed around a lot but it was still fun. Hellogoodbye was amazing! The only disappointment I had was that they didn't play the Prom song! But they played Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn and Touchdown Turnaround and Bonnie Taylor Shakedown 2k1 and Homewrecker and Call 'N' Return and Dear Jamie...Sincerely Me and a couple new ones and I don't remember what else. They were so awesome. I love them.

After Hellogoodbye Allison, Jacque, Brady, and Kevin got out of the nasty sweaty group of people because they needed water and air. I was getting really close to the front though so I decided to stay. haha. So I ended up being alone for a lot of The Rocket Summer. Anyway, I got pretty close to the stage, but I ended up being surrounded by really tall guys so I still couldn't see (or breathe) too well! haha. Anyway, when Bryce and the rest of the crew came on, everyone went like totally insane. Completely different crowd than the last one, where everyone was so mellow. Bryce definitely liked it more, but I was just a tad more uncomfortable this time. haha. I think he started with Around The Clock. Practically the entire show, everrrryone was jumping, pushing, shoving, dancing, crowd surfing, yelling. It was insane in there, especially since I was up front.

The show was awesome. Bryce was so cool as usual and I could tell he definitely enjoyed himself more than last time. Some kid crowdsurfed onstage and Bryce like started cracking up. And for I Was So Alone, Bryce pulled like ten people onstage to sing the song, and he almost picked me but then one of the dang tall guys near me had driven from Corpus Christi, so he picked him instead. Poo. And like no one up there even knew the words to the song, and when they did, they were singing them at the wrong time! haha. At one point Bryce like looked at one of the kids who was up there and he was like "Get off stage, man, you don't even know the words!" haha.

Of course Bryce crowd surfed and had people make a hole so he could jump offstage and dance around (although he didn't really get a hole this time because people were rushing to get by him). When he was crowdsurfing, everyone was shoving and stuff so they could get near him and touch him or something, and I totally got pushed forward and I totally accidentally grabbed Bryce's hair 'cause I was trying to get my balance! It must have hurt! haha. And his hair was all like greasy and everything from his gel and sweat.

But I think one of the craziest parts of the night was at the beginning of Saturday. That was one of the songs that was requested since after a little bit Bryce decided that he was just gonna play whatever people wanted. Some kid got up on the stage and jumped off. Either he did it twice, or two different guys did it once. But either way, he hit me in the face both times he jumped off. The first time I was okay, but the second time I got a bloody nose! haha! I was like oh whoa dude! So that was when I finally got out of the huge crowd. I went and got a paper towel and I bought some water. I called Amy Ragz and ran into her at the merch table. We both got a Hellogoodbye bag and I got some Hellogoodbye buttons and some Rocket Summer buttons. Then I just kind of hung out in the back for the rest of the show before I found Jacque and Allison at the end and we headed out.

I definitely can't remember what order he played songs in because I was much too distracted by the people shoving me around and I don't have that good of a memory, but he played Cross My Heart, Skies So Blue, This Is Me, Saturday, That's So You, TV Family (that was very heavily requested), I Was So Alone, Around The Clock, I'm Doing Everything (For You), Never Knew, Brat Pack, Treasures, Story, and I know that he played Show Me Everything You've Got last. It was soooooo good.

And I got my first concert injury!!! It's like a rite of passage! I'm surprised I made it through so many crazier concerts before this without getting hurt. haha.

I hardly got as many pictures this time as last time (last time I got literally over 50 good pics, this time I got less than 30 reasonably good pics) since people were so crazy this time and I wasn't right at the front, but it's all good. I put some of the pics up on my Xanga.

So I was supposed to go help wrap the trees at school this morning at like 8:30. And then I was supposed to meet at church at 11:45 to go to the temple.

But I ended up waking up at like 11:20 feeling sick and with a really bad sore throat. So I've been sitting around all day, eating and watching Gilmore Girls and reading Everything Is Illuminated. And it's starting to get really boring.

I never wrote about the huge poker game I went to at Mike's house on Sunday after Meg and I went with Dylan to get her hair done. Meg won $70 and Mike's dog tried to...get intimate with my arm like ten times. ha. And now Meg's grounded because she got home too late.

So after many problems and screw-ups, here is my schedule:

1st/6th - AP English 4 - Ms. Scott

2nd/7th - Yearbook - Mr. Hankey

3rd - AP European History - Mr. Mithofer

4th - CP US Government - Coach Greenwood

5th/10th - Orange Crush - Ms. Scott

8th - AP Biology - Mrs. Jones

9th - AP Biology Lab - Mrs. Jones

Of course, that is only first semester. Second semester I have two holes, one in 4th and one in 5th/10th. Blah. I'll probably have to take some stupid class. Hopefully I can get a job and get into work release at semester, but it's a year long class so I don't know. And I couldn't be in AP Government because they were all at the same time as other classes that I couldn't move, but I'm quite all right with being in CP. I hate hard classes. Plus, Kelli says Coach Greenwood is really cool. And I'm not in GT English for some reason, just AP. Whatevz.

Oh yeah and one of the guys at the Collin Creek Hot Topic is getting a regular Orange Crush shirt sent over from some other Hot Topic store so I don't have to get that terribly uncomfortable and expensive baby doll one from online. Mine's gonna have the flowers instead of the orange slice, but oh well, that's life. Comfort comes first, especially when it involves running around on football sidelines.

I update my xanga a lot more I've discovered.

Hm.

Not like it matters because all my updates are pointless. Woo!

I went to the SPCA today. I wanted to take home like all of the dogs, but especially this little puppy named Holden!

And I went in and played with the little kittens and all four of them crawled in my lap at once and they were all laying on top of each other and sliding everywhere. They were so cute.

But you have to be 18 to volunteer there. grr.

So there's this community college in California that teaches animal training and exotic animal management...it's called "The Teaching Zoo" or something where you like work at a zoo, but it's not a job, it's a school and you have classes and stuff. It's supposed to be really good, and I was thinking about going there instead of college (not completely seriously though) but I think maybe I'll get my bachelor's and then go there because it only takes about a year or so. And then I'll have experience plus more schooling. Plus, if I go to college in California, I'll already be a California resident (wouldn't I?) and so it'd be cheaper.

"I love this plan! I want to marry this plan!" as Rachel would say.

[24 Jul 2005|08:13pm]
So on Friday Mal Pal and I went to Dallas to see DEEP BLUE. It's about the ocean. And it's cool, but violent. Mallory decided it most def should have been rated R. haha.

Then on Saturday madre and I went to the Dallas World Aquarium 'cause we go there all the time. And the manatees weren't out. GASP. But the otters were, so it was all good. But it was crowded as crap so I'm thinking I want to make another trip out there on like a weekday morning or something. By myself though since Mom's got work and all that craziness.

Then we went to Bill's Records and I got a few cool buttons and a Beatles record. And then went and washed my hands very quickly. Because that place definitely isn't sanitary.

And today I slept in until like 12:30 again and missed church. Again. I honestly can not wake up lately. It's starting to freak me out. And then once I woke up I spent all day watching the entire first season of Arrested Development because Jared sent it to me.

Hung out with the Nizzle yesterday! We went to Albertson's and saw Sara and went to CiCi's and sat around at her house and hung out with Brookiiie and went to IHOP at like one in the morning.

And Nicki and I watched this ghey infomercial for like 20 minutes at like 4 in the morning that she could quote. It was sad. And funny.

Woo. <3 And today her 'rents got home from their cruise.

[19 Jul 2005|11:46pm]
So today was interesting.

You know, people cheating on final exams...

guy hitting on me at the library (of all places)...

random girls talking to Krista and me at the movie theater for like 30 minutes and inviting us to their church...

Life's weird. Annd Krista and I had another one of those effed up moments where I know exactly what one random and obscure thing she's going to say.

And I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the third time. In five days.

...my eljay is so boring. Oh yeah and happy 17th birthday Bryan Scott!

Andrew's doctors believe that he's in remission!

That makes me SO happy. I hope he is really in remission and doesn't have to go through chemo again.

♥♥♥

I felt productive today because I actually went and renewed my license. It's been a month since my birthday, so I figured it was about time.

Dad and I are going to see Willy Wonka tonight at the IMAX, even though I went to see it with Mallory on Friday. It's awesome enough to see more than once, and definitely on a super massive screen. :D

Andddd today is Sony's 18th birthday, and she is legal now. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONY! ♥

So Krista and I decided that we're going to Williams College.

Come visit us in Massachusetts sometime.

[16 Jul 2005|10:18pm]
So I talked to Jacque about Harry Potter 'cause she's the only other person cool enough to have already finished it.

And I feel kinda better now because it always helps to talk about it. Gotten past the shock and the sheer intensity of the last like 75 pages of the book.

Now I need sleep.
{13 stared into a cloud}// {want to see the future?}

[16 Jul 2005|07:51pm]
So I finished Harry Potter.

I want to die. I've been crying for the last hour. I can't believe it.

I can't even bring myself to talk about the parties last night.

[14 Jul 2005|06:15pm]
Slept at madre's last night 'cause the main water pipe in McKinney burst and I wanted to take a shower.

Instead, I ended up watching Johnny Depp on Jay Leno and taking a shower in the morning.

Then I spent a pretty boring day by myself. Went to Barnes and Noble, then came to McKinney and went to McAndrew's.

Omg it was torture....at McAndrew's, in one of the old cells at the back of the top floor, they had a cell that was stocked full of...Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. And the cell was locked. So I just sat there and like stared at it. It was right there in front of my face. aaaaggghh! I wanted to reach through the bars and touch them. I can't wait 'til tomorrow night!!!!

And tomorrow, Mal and I are going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. YAY. Tomorrow is going to rock so much.

Aaaaannnnd....new Coheed & Cambria on September 20th. YUM.

[12 Jul 2005|03:35pm]
AP scores came today.

I got a 3 on US History

and a 4 on English Language.

Pretty much what I expected on English, but I'm kinda surprised I passed history.

I wonder who made 5's.

It's odd, I always have a feeling that I'm gonna get my AP scores the day I do. Creepy.

[11 Jul 2005|10:50pm]
So today (after stupid summer school) Nizzle and I chilled. We went to McDonald's, Petland, Best Buy (I finally got Audioboxer by Something Corporate even though I downloaded all the songs from it ages ago)...some guy at Best Buy gave us free coupons to this like frozen lemonade place called Del's in Frisco so we spent some time finding that and then got us some free frozen lemonade. woo!

Then we chilled/napped at her house (watched That 70's Show and Friends) aaaand then went to Chipotle's with Kristen.

It was funness. There was much Dixie Chicks, No Doubt, and Spice Girls listening. And we always tend to laugh at stupid stuff when we hang out.

Coo.

Where do I want to go to college. Someone tell me. I hate making decisions.

I still cannot believe what happened in London. It's so horrible.

Mom and I went to the zoo today with Janelle and Conner.

I love the zoo.
